Reality Shows - How To Incorporate Some Of Them In Your Party For Kids

Reality shows are the rage these days. They are so popular that chances are good most kids know what a reality show is and to incorporate them into your kid's party would be fun and exciting for them.

The most important aspect of a reality show is to be caught on film. Nowadays with the ever-increasing use of the digital video camera, it is really a piece of cake. Meet each child at the door with your video cam ready. Let them feel like they are being filmed for a reality show. They are the ‘star’ and give each a solo interview and ask them how they feel about the party. After that, you can even download a copy each for the kids to take home as souvenirs.

The other aspect of a reality show is that it is talking about something real. Whether it is about relationships or a show that deals with some kind of contest, it is a real show with real people. So to have a reality themed party for your kid, incorporate some kind of contest for them. Have the children vote on teams and design props and other items for whatever kind of contest you want to be doing. It can be a sporting event to putting on a play. The most important point is to record the event and get individual interviews from the kids. This is a great way to document your party and at the same time having such fun

Get everyone involved. The filming should be continuous with the arrival of the first guest. Make sure you get all the personal interviews with them on arrival and during the party. Request that each child comes with a nametag that states their first name and a small byline. Every time they are being interviewed, ask them to hold up the tag, just like in the reality show whereby the name of the person being interviewed and a short byline is shown at the base of the screen.

Finally the best part of the reality themed party is being able to watch all the happenings at the party itself. You can make a copy for each child to take home as a souvenir, especially if you have used a digital camcorder. It would be easy to download the event on a CD and kids have the best party favor possible- the entire party. These kinds of parties need some planning but if you are computer savvy, you can be the producer and director all at the same time. This would be the best kind of themed party for the kids because they not only enjoy themselves at the party but also have fantastic memories with their video CDs for a long time to come.
